Ozdemir Sabanci Emirgan Anatolian High School's Regional Sport Competition Participation

As Ozdemir Sabanci Emirgan Anatolian High School between 8-25 March 2016 we did participate in the regional sport competitions such as basketball,volleyball and football.

The activities drew attention to ''doing sport '' is fun and healthy and important in our lives.

Environmental issues in Turkey-

In February,for three weeks on our school board, we had a chance to share our articles on Environmental issues in Turkey and the research we did on different type of things like Rubbish art,recycling,environmental groups and foundations in Turkey and famous ones such as Greenpeace and its Istanbul branch.
Our students made a research about how they can work in an group like this and do something useful for their environment.

Foreign language day-Spanish

10th of March,2016-We had a visitor from Argentina at our school.

Miss.Maria Caceres from Firenze language school ,Istanbul met our students and talked about Spain and Spanish language as well as its culture.Students had an opportunity to learn about Latin American festivals and some details about the culture and also Spanish culture and food.

We had a starter session of Spanish language as well,our students enjoyed it very much and some even said that they were going to attend Spanish courses in the future.It was a fun day.

Seminar at our school about bad effects of drugs

On 10th of February,2016,from a police station ,a policeman -an expert about how to avoid drugs and precautions-visited our school and gave a very effective lecture about the influences of drugs on a person's body .We found it very useful .Students had a chance to see photos of real victims of drug addicts and  their experiences.

The very negative effects of drugs on our lives has been discussed and the ways of taking precautions have been shared.
