1-8 OCTOBER 2016 WARSAW , POLAND EXCHANGE.
1 October 2016-We were very excited about going to Poland, making new friends and seeing a different culture. When we first arrived, we all met with our partners. It was quite an exciting moment for us meeting for the first time face to face.Some of us knew each other from Istanbul mobility though.
We all got along well the first day.
2 October 2016-Second day was a free day. We all met in the Old Town to meet with Finnish and more Polish people. We were very lucky to meet them.We got to see many different churches,palaces,ate polish food and enjoyed ourselves,our partners told us about the history of the city.We were amazed to see so many historical places,architecture was breathtaking.
3 October 2016- We had to wake up early for school. After school welcoming programme,we all went to a trampoline place which was so much fun. We were all very tired that day but also very happy because we all got to know each other more in a fun way.
4 October 2016- We woke up very very early for a trip. It was a two-hour drive to get there,Plock...The second capital of Poland as they called it.We went to some museums , saw beautiful river wistula,old town and ate some Polish food. It was a cold but a very historical and fun day as well.
5 October 2016- We went to school and played voleyball ,basketball and all kinds of sports. After that we went to a trip to Lazienki Krolewskie by a local bus.As it was a very rainy and cold day we could not do much.
6 October 2016-The next day we went to school. Some of the studens there taught us some Polish. We attended Chemistry,English and History classes.learning Polish was so enjoyable and fun!The exciting part was getting our certificates at the end.As Turkish group we did some folkloric dancing.
7 October 2016-On friday we went to two museums,Uprising and Copernicus museums. It was a very impressive museum. We had a chance to experience some scientific stuff and learnt about Poland during the Second World War.
8 October 2016-The next day we all flew back to Turkey..It was difficult to say goodbye to our partners.
This was one of the greatest trips of our lives. We were all so happy to experience such an impressive trip to Warsaw. We all miss our friends there and we all hope to see them again.
