Find ways of recycling different materials Many materials can be recycled, such as paper, plastic, metal and glass. Other items such as furniture, electronic equipment, building material and vehicles can also be recycled but many people don’t often think to do so. Most home recycle bins, provided by your local council, usually accept glass, paper, plastic etc. 

 

Buy products that can be recycled. When shopping at the supermarket, buy products that can be recycled easily such as glass jars and tin cans. 

 

Buy products that have been made from recycled material. You can tell if a product is eco-friendly by looking at the label on the packaging. 

 

Avoiding buying hazardous material. It is difficult to recycle products that contain hazardous waste. Try to find safer alternatives to household cleaners and buy non-toxic products whenever possible. 

 

Recycle bins. Make sure you have a recycle bin in your home. Keep it in an obvious place so you won’t forget to use it. Your local council should be able to provide you with a recycle bin that can be used for materials such as glass, paper, aluminium and plastic.

Reuse, Reduce, Recycle

Reduce; reuse and recycle are the three formulas of keeping our environment clean and healthy. If these tools are used positively by everyone, soon we can change our world to a better place for surviving in more pleasing way. 
Pollution is making our environment not only dirty but also becoming harmful for the people. The effect is posing threat on our survival. We can notice spread litters here and there on the roads, parks and several other public places. These wastes are because of our unintelligent, careless and thoughtless use of food products and other usable things. This makes the public places dirty as well as bad looking for the visitors. Recent survey shows that use of packets food, water bottles have increased at an alarming rate in many countries including India. 
Common list of material that can be recycled are plastic bags, newspaper, books, paper cartoon, furniture, magazine, Lead acid batteries, florescent light bulbs, lamps, plastic bottles, pen refill, keyboard, Printer Inkjet Cartridges etc. Besides these there are many industrial products that can be recycled also. The list is big. 
Only important thing is that we need to change our mindset for the wellbeing of our society. Our (including school students) duty is also to aware people about recycle, reuse and reduce the material, method and process of keeping our environment clean and healthy.

HOW TO RECYCLE RUBBISH

There are many ways that you can recycle household rubbish and unwanted items. Here are our top tips for reducing your waste and doing your bit for the environment.

Recycle your rubbish

Recycle glass by separating it from your other rubbish and using your parish glass collection

Buy rechargeable batteries rather than disposable, and then recycle them using the recycling banks

Recycle all your household metal packaging, i.e.:

cans, tins, aerosol cans, foil, foil trays, metal lids - aluminium and steel can be recycled again and again.

Recycle plastic bottles - they're made from oil which is a finite, natural resource

Instead of throwing unwanted electrical goods away, take them to the household recycling centre where they'll be split into their component parts and sent for recycling

newspapers, magazines, brochures, catalogues, envelopes 

Buy a £10 home composting kit from your local garden centre and turn your kitchen and green garden into quality compost.

                                

Dissemination of Poland/Warsaw exchange

Our school's last school dissemination activity had a place on a nationwide school newspaper.

Our video conference with our partner Polish Bem School Students

We had a video conference with our partner Polish Bem School students.We talked about our activities we have been working on and exchanged ideas.It was a nice talking to them eventhough it was through internet and was quite fun.We enjoyed it a lot as we miss each other since we are back from Poland.
